Abbey Physic Community Garden

Abbey Physic Community Garden, a stunning green oasis in the heart of Faversham is one of the standout places on the Sausage and Ale Trail. This award-winning garden, with two Hampton Court silver medals under its belt, packs a lot into its small space including unusual fruits and vegetables – from black tomatoes and cocktail kiwis to trombone squashes and loofahs.   You will be welcome to explore the different garden zones, bring the kids to play in the ‘mud kitchen’, enjoy tasty treats from the garden’s produce, including pizzas made on the woodfired oven or just take a quiet moment to enjoy nature at its best. The Physic Garden will also be hosting a stall from Edible Culture who will be offering a range of locally grown herbal teas. Recently featured on BBC’s Gardener’s World the Physic Garden and Edible Culture will also be showcasing ways of using less plastic in growing your own food.
